Seniors and teens connect

Asset Champion Mary Juberian knew it would be a win-win to help out the Robotics team at St. Louis Park High School. When the students need a wood shop to build the crate to ship their robot to the competition, Mary didn’t hesitate to help. Working with high school teacher Ann Jurewicz, Mary put the students in touch with some of the wonderful volunteers who know their way around the Lenox woodshop.

“I was so pleased we could make the wood shop available,” explained Mary. “As an asset builder this was an opportunity for seniors on both ends to work together. Being an Asset Champion doesn’t have to be difficult or take a lot of time. In this case I just seized the opportunity to help.”
