Community and kids! Join the St. Louis Park community at the seventh annual Children First Champions Breakfast, Thursday, March 1 to support the community’s culture around raising healthy, thriving youth. The breakfast is held at the DoubleTree Park Place from 7:00 – 8:15 a.m.
Children First engages adults in St. Louis Park to actively participate in the growth of all our young people. You will hear how this happens from Van Hong, a young adult who grew up in St. Louis Park where soccer was a vital part of his life. Sure competing on the field was important, but it went beyond that to the supportive community that surrounded him. His story comes full circle when he describes what he does now to make sure kids in St. Louis Park get the attention they deserve.
Once a year, the Champions Breakfast is the gathering spot for community leaders, business people and residents who are committed to the healthy development of our youth. The event books out, so don’t delay. A reservation is required, but it is free to attend. Thanks to Japs-Olson Co., you’ll enjoy a hot breakfast. This is a fundraiser so you will be asked for a gift to Children First at the breakfast.
Thanks to sponsors who are providing leadership gifts which will match funds raised at through the breakfast dollar for dollar: Citizens Independent Bank, Park Nicollet Foundation, St. Louis Park Community & Youth Development Fund, Foley & Mansfield and St. Louis Park Rotary Foundation.
