CRAVE makes itself known in SLP

CRAVE Restaurant opened a new location this fall at The Shops at the West End, the new development at I-394 and Highway 100. Along with their commitment to offering a great dining experience, they are committed to the community through Crave Cares, a program designed to ensure that CRAVE is intimately involved in the communities they serve.

CRAVE recently teamed up with Perspectives’ Kids Café to create a unique and innovative community involvement program. CRAVE Executive Chef, Eli Wollenzien met with the kids at Kids Café to get input on special items they would like to see on the CRAVE menu. After gathering their ideas, Chef Eli created the dishes and the children had a chance to taste test them. Beginning early February, these selections will appear on a special menu at CRAVE’s West End location. When ordered by diners, a portion of the proceeds from those items will go to Kids Café at Perspectives Family Center.

In addition to this partnership, CRAVE provided free Thanksgiving dinners at the restaurant for over 300 deserving people. The intent was to provide uplifting news and a complimentary meal to those going through tough times. The word spread quickly through St. Louis Park agencies that were able to connect their families with this wonderful treat, and hopefully this will be an ongoing tradition for years to come.
