Fifth Annual Teens Alone Homeless Youth Summit

Join Teens Alone for a Special performance by the Mainstreet School for Performing Arts followed by an Ice Cream Social. $10 at the door.

Teens Alone provides free and confidential counseling and services year round for youth and parents in St. Louis Park and three other school districts. Teens Alone addresses a variety of issues including drug/alcohol abuse, emotional, sexual and physical abuse, racial issues, pregnancy, sexual orientation, family breakups and teen homelessness. Celebrate Children during “Make a Difference Day”
Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. – noon
Spirit of Christ Community Lutheran Church

You can make a difference on October 24th by dropping off the following items at the church: food and groceries; children’s clothing, mittens, gloves, caps and scarves; craft kits for children to create gifts to thank their parents; or gift cards to grocery stores, movie theaters, and clothing or variety stores.

Also, at the event there will be information about local organizations for families and children. There will be free snack bars while supply lasts and free toothbrushes and toothpaste for the first 100 children.

Spirit of Christ is a new church created with two church families (First Minnetonka and Ascension Lutheran) coming together to serve the local community in partnership with others. The church is located at 5801 Minnetonka Blvd. For more info visit Spirit of Christ Community.
