Children First comes alive through its volunteers: Children First Champions. Champions are educated on the Children First philosophy AND make a commitment to help the initiative flourish in St. Louis Park.
– Those who live, work or volunteer in St. Louis Park;
– Committed to the healthy development of our kids;
– and, who will commit to spread the message among St. Louis Park adults they know.
To help meet Children First’s goal that by 2022, 4 out of 5 St. Louis Park households will know about Children First and the important role adults play in helping our youth thrive.
Becoming a Children First Champion is a two-step process. First sign up for one of the 4-hour training sessions to learn about Children First, its research base, and the role of a champion. Then participate in a 90-minute action planning session where you set two action steps to help spread the word among St. Louis Park households.
Training is free and a reservation is required. Use this link to make yours.
Can’t make this commitment?
