Asset Champion Training
Asset Champions are community members who make a commitment to helping St. Louis Park youth thrive. The commitment begins with four-hour interactive training that provides background on Children First, the importance of the 40 assets and allows time for participants to develop asset-building strategies. It is followed with a 90-minute action planning session, where Asset Champions set their own personal plans with simple steps to spread the word among St. Louis Park adults. Training is free and a reservation is required. Asset Champions have quarterly gathering to share tips and ideas and celebrate what’s being done to support our youth.
NOTE: Children First is refreshing its training to make it better than ever, so no training dates are set right now. If you would like to be notified of training dates in spring 2018, please contact us to be put on the training email list.
